Taking a stroll through the town, listening to the clouds overhead that rumbled and threatened to open up at any second, Ren decided to head to towards the restaurant district to avoid the rumbling over-head, and the rumbling her felt in his stomach. For once he decided to go into a restaurant to eat as opposed to nicking something from a store of from the galley on the ship. He settle on a choice by randomly choosing a direction and walking in it until he found a restaurant. He wanders along inside and takes a seat at an open booth between a group of girls and man who was sitting alone.
He takes a seat and glances over the menu, finding something worth eating on the menu and stares around the place while he waits for service. The waitress finally comes over and he makes his order and sits quietly for a moment or two. He makes a few mental notes on the place and people inside, passing the time slowly. When his food arrives he snatches it up and begins to stuff his face. He chews his food, once more looking around noting how quiet this place was. It wasn't empty, pretty full actually, but no one was talking, no one was doing much aside from eating silently.
This was boring, it made him want to act out, or do something to shake up the silence. He eyes the waitress as she passes by again, admiring the view a bit as she does. He goes back to eating, once again fighting the impulse to cause trouble. It doesn't last long thought as he half unconsciously picks up a piece of his diner roll and flicks it at the back of the head of the man sitting in front of him.
