"Allow me to fulfill your request madam." Keneth's leg flashed and kicked the chair from under Well. He watched as they both fell to the floor and said "No if I start a fight you'll never get out until someone comes and drags out your wretched carcass. I told you to never interfere with my mission, I already had a plan. We could have came in here, got her, and told her on the way back to the ship over tea for all I care so that we wouldn't have to stay in enemy territory any longer than needed and we wouldn't be behind schedual. Every moment we stay here is another moment were more likely to be spotted. The giant ship outside the house isn't exactly going to blend in!"He took a deep breathe, regaining his passive and cold composer, and turned back to the girl. "I should have figured you had connection somewhere, thats why the pirate captain didn't want you dead. And im assuming she just needs a healer for some reason, she didn't tell me why and I didn't ask, im a mercenary so she gave me my job and instructions and I came here to follow them. As for my associate, she made him come with me. As you can see we dont get along very well and as I said time is short so if you dont mind may we please leave? And if its going to be a matter then I will pay for anything broken, just as long as we can go now."

As the girl told him to take his feet of the table Well pointed out his tongue at her like a child and answered her with an ever more childish comment; “Make me, mädchen.” He smiled and was just about to add that she must be surprised seeing how he spoke her language but his teasing stopped when the angry merchant kicked the chair away under him. Well fell to the hard tree floor together with the chair. It kind of hurt so his mind was more focused on standing up, getting free from the chair’s embrace. When the sky pirate managed to do that he stood up and made an ugly gesture at his companion. Well had just as much patience as any other human, perhaps even more but being kicked down together was not something he could tolerate, he grabbed the merchants collar dragging him closer, the claws destroying the pretty cloth the assassin had around his neck. “And just who do you think you are?” he whispered, to angry to manage high speech, “I’m just as important as you, breaking your neck would be as easy for me as for you to kill me.” Well let go of the other boy’s collar and pushed away the assassin as if the boy disgusted him.
The other boy breathed hard as if to regain control over his own voice and turned to the girl, speaking about her connection to the pirates. Since the sky pirate himself did not have anything better to do he bent down and putted the chair back once again. After that he scooped the dirt from the table, found a broom in a corner and gathered the earth and grass in a bucket that stood in another corner. As he was finished he had calmed down and turned back to his partner, smiling. He started to talk as the assassin had finished.
“It’s not us that don’t get along with each other; it’s him not getting along with me. “ Well placed one hand on his hips and the other one pointing at his companion with his left thumb. Looking at the other boy who seemed to ignore him Well gave the assassin a friendly clap on his back and then backing away before Hal managed to hit him back. The sky pirate escaped to the girl’s side of the table and leaned at the back of the chair with a mischievous smile. Looking down on the girl, he asked; “So what do you think, honey? Ready to take a ride?”

"Its you not doing what your told and being an insubordinant brat who thinks he's on the same level that I am." He moved his neck so that is popped then said "I will be waiting on the ship. For now we will do it your way. Be there in a minute or less or I will do it my way." He walked calmly from the room, resisting the urge to shoot Well between his eyes since he had set the sonic gun to kill rather than stun the moment Well had grabbed him. They may be the same age but Well was like a little kid to him, he certainly acted like one. And if he was not willing to kill someone then he had no place being in a war. Let alone trying to pick a fight with him. Setting his blaster back to stun he put it back in its holster on his belt and climbed the stairs to the ship where he went over to the wheel to pull a lever. After that he jumped up on the railing, balancing on the thin beam and clasping his hands together in front of his chest, meditating to calm down. He could hear the panels on the side of the ship opening and shooting out the thick fog that he used for cover at times, soon shrouding the entire area and spreading further.

Eliza nodded. "Sure, I'll come." She stood and faced the red-haired boy. "And let me tell you something. I, and nobody's 'honey' you got that?" She gave him a soft, yet still harsh look. She turned and started for the door. "And you have blue feathers in your hair." She opened the door and exited the house, leaving the door open. Outside was suddenly covered in a large fog bank, apparently comming from the large airship docked not far off. She started in its direction, then remembered something. She ran back to the house, and grabbed three things from her room: Her long bow, her quiver, and a photo of her and her father, slipping the photo into her apron. As she ran out of the house again, she slung the bow and quiver over her shoulder and across her chest, then ran up the ship's gangplank. "I left the door open, to make it look more like I was taken, and didn't leave." She understood that if they thought she'd willingly gone with the pirates, she'd be killed. Once more, her father would be devistated. He had no idea she was for the pirates. "Now what?" She said, turning to the boy who apparently was the captian.

Well looked after the other boy with a smile on his face, at the assassin made his way out of the house with a harsh comment. Well called out after him: “At least I’m not pretending to be the lonely, tragic hero.” With some curses under his breath the fox boy turned to the girl just to realize she was not very happy with him either. She had a kind of grace that seemed strange for a normal girl, Well realized she must have the pirate blood running through her veins making her restless and so much more dangerous.
Well followed the female pirate while discreetly trying to brush the feathers out of his red hair which probably failed quite a lot since the feathers fell down on the floor, showing that he had been there. With a sigh Well gave up his tries and followed the woman around the house as she picked up some things. She did not seem to pay him any attention so the sky pirate stopped in the living room looking at the photos that stood on a drawer for anyone to watch. Well did not see any picture of a woman that looked like the girl running around the house, making sure her kidnapping seemed realistic. The girl ran out of the house and Well followed but stopped outside the door, closing it and then kicking the tree hard to break it. With a crash he managed to kick in the door. A child in a house beside their target’s started to cry, a few seconds after a flicking light came on and a face looked out of the window. A woman’s voice echoed through the night: “Who is there?” seeing Well the woman made big eyes and shouted, “What in the world are you doing?!”
The pirate ran away leaving the woman’s voice to echo over the village. He knew where the ship was and ran towards it with a speed fitted more for an animal then a human. It seemed the stairs to the ship was being dragged in and the ship lifted against the sky. Up on the deck Well thought he saw a shadow of his blue hen Cheesecake and the girl. Looking around, the sky pirate saw a rope that seemed unused. Grabbing the rope and dragging of the claws on his right hand Well ran to keep the pace of the ship and tied the rope around the craws. The boy threw the claws towards the ship’s railing, they struck with a thump. Well grabbed the rope and felt his feet lift from the ground, thinking his arms might get torn of the sky pirate climbed the rope and managed to reach the railing with aching arms and a smile on his face. *Don't worry Honey I hope everything is alright now*

*No bother at all. Hope everything goes well with whatever happened.*
Keneth looked over at Well and set the ship to stay in the same place. Walking over he helped get the other boy into the ship saying "Honestly I wasn't trying to leave yah. I thought you'd come on board with her." He jerked his toward Eliza with the last sentence then started back to his captains chair. Before he did though he turned back and said "Good job kicking the door down and getting us seen. Thats exactly what I needed." He gave him a small smile, meaning what he said, and went back to his captains chair. "Just let me do one thing before we ship off." He pulled one of the many levers beside his chair and the fog machine stopped, soon dissappearing to reveal his monstrous ship. It was a scary sight to behold considering the way he'd decordated it. Pulling another lever the figurehead skeletons head moved, his head aiming toward the ground where nobody was. Keneth pulled the lever back and the skull opened to reveal a hidden sonic cannon inside its mouth. Pressing the button under the handle up the sonic cannon quickly charged up and blasted the ground, producing a huge explosion of dirt and rocks. Next he aimed it towards one of the abandoned buildings and fired. The building exploded, something in it apparently unstable, maybe a fuel tank, as it caught on fire. Everyone in the neighborhood knew they'd been here now. He nodded satisfied and put the lever back, the sonic cannon once again hidden in the frightening figurehead. "There we go. And dont worry, the buildding was abandonded and there was nobody at either of the places I shot. If anything I prolly did them a favor by destroying the building." He spun the wheel and engaged all the propelling systems and then they were off.

Eliza watched as the abandoned apartment building exploded. "Nice cover, Kapitän!" She called from were she was leaning over the ships edge slightly. "That place has been empty for years!" The wind was rough as the rose, the billowing her dress and hair in all directions. She tightened her hair kercheif to keep it out of her face. Walking away from the ramparts, she went to where the captian stood at the wheel. "It's a magnificent ship, Kapitän." She complimented. "You must be pretty important to own one." She looked around for a moment, before something caught her eye- a large blue hen perched nearby. "I take it thats were the feathers were from, eh Knabe?" She laughed, walking over to the bird. "I've never seen one in this shade, usually their darker." She thought aloud. "A woman in my town has similar ones, I believe." She gently stroked the birds soft head, being experienced with animals.

Well, exhausted and in safe on the sixteen year old boy’s ship lay on the deck to the ship mentioned before and breathed heavy. The climb had been hard on his arms which now trembled as Well tried to move them. Hal had helped him aboard the ship and told him that the thief wouldn’t leave Well. Well had felt the warmth in the other boys hand and smiled up at the captain of the ship. Between the sky pirate’s painting the boy with blue feathers in his hair managed to say: “He he, you wouldn’t manage to get rid to me that easily even if you tried.” Keneth Halloway, goggle equipped and (seemly) deep in thoughts walked over to the captain’s chair before giving Well the first positive comment the redhaired boy had heard from the closed boy. The sky pirate sat up and dragged a hand under his bangs to get rid of some of the sweat that had appeared as he climbed.
The fog machine, ship bound and mist breathing, was turned off by its captains fast hands and the ship itself appeared out of the fake cloud. Well jumped up from the deck and ran to the railing almost falling over as he watched the ship transform, the boy had not consider the possibility of the ship’s looks and now he was leaning so much he almost fell of the flying boat. The canon appeared out of a skeletons mouth and fired the weapon, Well turned down his goggles to see clearly what the blast would do. The boy was just to turn and tell the captain what he thought of the ships looks but the German girl was faster than he was. Well watched the girl speak, her dress flapping around her body and sending her hair dancing in the wind, she clearly was in her right element. The hen cackled and the girl walked over to the hen and pets her head while speaking, if it was to him or the hen Well was a little unsure about. The long haired boy who tried to collect his hair that ended up in his face whatever he did Well gave up and walked over to the girl and the bird. Trying to keep the fluttering hair out of his eyes with one hand and placed the other on his hip. Seeing how her owner came closer, the hen jumped up on the girl head and looked down at the boy with ironic eyes. Well looked up at her an muttered: “Traitor!” then he turned to the girl and sat down to escape the blowing wind’s strong breath. “I guess she is responsible for my look, her name is Cheesecake. But forgetting the trait – I mean the hen, may I ask you, mädchen?” without waiting for an answer the sky pirate continued, “I looked at the photos in your house; there is not a picture of your mother. Is she gone somewhere? Or is she perhaps in the next world. I want to know, the trip is long so don’t hurry Schätzchen, take your time. If you wish I can tell you mine in return.” Looking at the mädchen, the boy let go of his red hair and let it fly free as the girl made her choice.

Devan made sure everything on the ship was fine and back to normal then nodded, more to himself than anyone else. Looking behind them he saw they weren't being followed as of yet. They'd come a good ways already and the small town was quickly vanishing in the horizon. He went below deck to the kitchen and set on a kettle of warm mint tea and put some cookies in the oven. Mercenary or not he was only 16 and he had a big sweet tooth. Going back up he saw Well and the girl, Elizah he thought she'd said her name was, talking together so he went up to his captains chair, leaning back, putting his arms behind his head, and propping his feet up on the lashed wheel, taking a little rest and letting his eyes close as he waited for the snacks he was preparing to be ready.

*I'm back!*
Eliza was startled slightly as the hen jumped to perch on her sandy brown hair, and listened to what the pirate boy had to say. She sat down next to him, and began her story. "Both my parents came over from Germany, but they met here. The both became doctors, and thats how they met." She paused a moment, gathering herself. "Very soon after I was born, my Mutter, passed away. It was just my Vater nd me." She sighed, remembering how hard it was growing up, being in constant poverty. She took the hen from her head and placed it in her lap. "Now, Roten." She said, using the German word for red. "Time to hold up your end of the bargan. Please start with your name." She smirked at the boy, waiting for a reply.

Well raised his head to the sky as the girl spoke, in his eyes she sounded strong but jet weak of sorrow. Being raised in a place where everything was based for other people’s happiness, the former line dancer jumped to his feet cast a shadow over her hair and the hen. Smiling down at her, who had lost so much and gained so little, the former circus artist bent over her and gave her a poke on her nose before jumping back so that the girl would not reach him. Still smiling, Well made a funny spin and bowed to the girl. “The name I was given died with my mother and father, or perhaps only one of them, maybe I never had a mother or father to begin with, who knows?” looking behind him to share eye contact with the poor thief sitting in the captain’s chair. “Why so gloomy? It’s not like I remember them or anything and I never will. My mother, not related by blood but by her kind heart, found me by a well, laying cold in the morning dew, slowly freezing to death. My mother never mentioned her lost husband or her inability to carry his children and the man left her for that, I overheard some fire breathers speaking about it and found out that he leaved her. “Being raised in the circus by everyone, I never wanted to know my real family, traveling on the roads, making people laugh and tremble with excitement as the line dancers performed their tricks, even the animals were like a family and when one of them left us we gave them a burial and everyone shred tears for their sake. As a clown and a line dancer from the circus it’s my job to make you laugh and forget your troubles, mädchen.” Well raised his hand and pointed on the sky, “Even the sky will smile at the clowns, and I’m one of them, my name is Welliam Trucker, named after the well that made my mother find a child.” Scratching his head, his red hair flying in the wind “But you can call me Well, since I like that better.”

Eliza smiled at the boy. He was very funny. "It's very nice to meet you, Herr Well!" She lifted the hen from her lap and stood, hair still flowing in the strong breeze. "While you had a fun job, mine isn't nearly so." She tucked a strand behind her ear and tightened her kercheif. "I'm an Herb Gatherer, a tedious jub that's left me with pains in my lower back." She rubbed her still aching spine. "It's not a fun job, but I do it to please Vater and help the family." She glanced over toward the captian. "What about you, Kapitän?" She inquired. "What's your story?"

Keneth looked up at her question and thought for a minute before replying, "I grew up in a poor family, we didn't have much but what we did have we were thankful for especially each other. One day I had an incident where this rich guy ran into me when I was young, treated me like trash even though he ran into me and left acting like he was going to have to disinfect himself. I followed him, stole his wallet, and continued to use that talent on people like him to help my family. Then later I decided to become a mercenary to make a little more and I send most of the money to my family whenever I get it to make sure they've always enough. Thats about it for me cept for my jobs but those would take forever to explain so yah thats it."

Having already heard the merchant’s story the former clown walked over to the railing and watched the shadows the clouds made on the ground. They were not high enough to see the whole shadows but the boy could make out where one cloud started and the other ended. Well was thinking, as a boy he had managed to learn quite a lot languages and German was one of them. But he couldn’t quite remember how you said miss; he just assumed herr meant mister. As Keneth finished his story Well turned towards the girl with the aching back. “May I ask something?” without waiting for approval he continued, “If you are a herb gatherer, Schätzchen, how come you have connections with the pirates? It’s not like this is your first ride on an airship, is it? It took me quite a while to get sky legs and you stand like you were born in the air. How come the captain is asking for you?”

Eliza thought a moment. "Vater is in support of the government. He used to be neutral, but turned to the government, hoping it would help us." She paused, laughing quietly and slightly angrily. "If anything, our lives have gotten worse. I've turned toward the pirates, hoping that they can do something to stop the Fed's and help my family." She turned toward the boy. "And this is, in fact, my first time on an Airship." She looked at the floor, then over the railing. "I guess I was just born to do this." She smiled, leaning her back and hands on the railing. "I just want to make a diffrence."
