ALTERHELD
"Can you feel a silk embrace, in the satin air?
If we dissolve without a trace, would the real world even care?
Downy feathers kiss your face, and flutter everywhere.
Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn’t want to live there."
the basics,
»»character full name: Alter Antiken Helden
»»age: as old as the planet of Sterhera, looks to be about 18
»»gender: male
»»sexual orientation: heterosexual
»»position: Maintenance Worker (in disguise)
»»race: Deity; God of Wind
»»alliance: Pirate/Deity
»»powers: Often Alterheld will preform small powers, since he is hiding among people, and cannot be caught. These small acts include pushing air around to confuse or play with people.
His greater powers are often not ever seen by others. He can summon great hurricane-like storms from anywhere in the world to turn towards him. He can also fly, but never practices it unless he must.
»»weapons: Alterheld favors whips - among the many in his collection, he enjoys the metal ones best. He claims he likes the feel of them more, but really enjoys the power that they can enforce.
the appearance,
»»eyes: Brown
»»markings: claw-shaped scars on his face and back
»»height: 5' 7"
»»weight: 150 lbs
»»general appearance: Alterheld, being who he is, always makes himself look older then how his body appears. He achieves this by dressing in dark, earth-toned clothing. His favorites are any sorts of greens, browns and deep reds. You'll never see him in blues or yellows.
His daily outfit consists of a coat and black pants. When he's not at a formal gathering, he doesnt often wear a shirt under his coat. The coat is almost as long as he is tall. It is dark brown, with 3 straps on the front which can close the coat shut, though he never has it that way. The coat has a large collar, and short sleeves; making it even more catching to the eye.
When he's working on any equipment, he'll normally just take the coat off - but when it calls for it, he'll put one of his many green or black t-shirts on.
the personality,
»»likes: wind, the morning, music, creativity, mechanics, the future
»»dislikes: mud, hard decisions, darkness, staying still, small animals
»»strengths:
Mechanical Knowledge - Alter's intelligence of machinery, gears, and anything else technical is amazing. He can take anything apart, and put it right back together without fail. After the earthens came to the planet, he mastered what technology he could of theirs and put it into practice immediately.
Strong Will - If Alter starts something; he will finish it. He hates it when something gets him distracted, so that he cannot finish a project. The only reason he wouldn't finish something is if the finished result would hurt a friend.
Logical - Alter isnt very smart as far as facts and history goes, but he can solve puzzles both fast and well.
»»weaknesses:
Arrogance - Being a perfectionist with his work, Alterheld can have an overbearing attitude of superiority. Thinking that he can never be wrong, and that he is the boss of everyone around him. This only normally happens, when he is deep within a project of building or repairing something though.
Bad memory - He has the worst memory. Almost everything about a day, other then any projects he is working on, Alterheld will forget it. Conversations usually travel in one ear, and out the other - unless it is pertaining to something at hand.
»»secrets: Eventhough he can fly, and has little use for it - Alterheld cannot swim. Of course, he'll never allow the subject to come up.
»»general personality: Because of how he works, Alterheld has always been a loner. His arrogance makes it so that people tend not to want to help him. Ever since he decided to walk among the humans from earth, he has tried to work his mentality - becoming less of a perfectionist, and more understanding of others. He likes helping others, when people accept it. Since the work he does is both labor-intense and dirty, he doesn't mind most other types of physical work.
He has a kid's heart, always playing - even when he's working. He tries to make everything fun for himself, because he believes that that's the way life should be.
the history,

»»father: None
»»siblings: None
»»others: The Pirates

Alterheld's actual name is Zephyrus Tye Shaw, given to him by the god of water many centuries ago. He didn't pick up Alterheld, until the humans came to Sterhera. He learned of their ways, and studied their history to the best he could; with the resources he found. He learned of Germany, and, for some reason, took great interest in its language.
For the first few years, there was no war among the humans - no grievances or major disputes. Alter assumed it was because of their shared interest to leave their original planet. After a while, the other gods seemed to want to go and live among these new inhabitants. Alterheld was very happy with his existence the way it was, and opposed this idea. He thought interfering would make things worse. After a few convincing words from the others, and the fact that they were going to do it with or without him, he gave in. Alterheld realized that it really wouldn't matter what happened to him living among the humans, after all, he is a god.
A local blacksmith took interest in Alter as soon as he became human. Alterheld had a natural talent for machinery and smithing. He quickly became known as the man who could fix anything. He now enjoys all the company, even though he wants to keep a low profile. He is very careful at not revealing who he truly is.
The battles are raging on the borders, but Alterheld keeps out of them, as does all the other gods. He doesn't support the war in any way, and refuses to build anything related to it unless it will save lives instead of kill them.

"Is that my old student I see over there?" Afton exlaimed, peering at a table in the corner at the outside facility.
Teren, after had just finished his meal, looked around for the one who called his name. He saw an old friend staring at him from accross the road. "Afton! Come along now, sit with me. We need to catch up."
Losing track of time, not having anywhere important to go, they talked for hours. Teren learned that his friend had come to this village to meet with other monks. He shared what he has learned about the land around the region, along with giving a gift to Afton, of a rare spice he had been planing on sending back home eventually.
The afternoon turned night, as the two stood and stretched their legs. "I see locals started their daily fire of the elders," Afton pointed out, noticing the smoke pillowing across town. "How long are you planning on staying?"
"I have an apointment with a fellow tradesman tommorow in Kintal, many miles away from here." Teren began to gather his things, "It has been a wonderous time seeing you again, teacher, but I'm afraid I must actually take my leave now."
Afton understood, being a finatic about keeping a schedule, he gratiously extended his hand for a parting shake, "Then until we meet again, young one. I will be sure to share these spices with the others at home, thank you for your gift."
After accepting the hand shake, along with saying his final good-byes, Teren left - headed north for his meeting.
